693 וְכַאֲשֶׁר יַגִּיעַ הַבֹּקֶר שֶׁנִּקְרָא שַׁחַר, יַגִּיעַ לָהּ חֶבְלֵי גָּלוּת. וּמִשּׁוּם זֶה נִקְרֵאת אַיֶּלֶת הַשַּׁחַר, עַל שֵׁם שַׁחֲרוּת הַבֹּקֶר. שֶׁיֵּשׁ לָהּ כְּאֵבִים כְּמוֹ הַיּוֹלֶדֶת. זֶהוּ שֶׁכָּתוּב כְּמוֹ הָרָה תַקְרִיב לָלֶדֶת תָּחִיל תִּזְעַק בַּחֲבָלֶיהָ וְגוֹ'.

693 וְכַד יֵיתֵי צַפְרָא דְּאִקְרֵי שַׁחַר. יֵיתֵי לָהּ חֲבָלִים דְּגָלוּתָא. וּבְגִין דָּא, אִתְקְרִיאַת אַיֶּלֶת הַשַּׁחַר. עַל שֵׁם קַדְרוּתָא דְּצַפְרָא. דַּחֲבָלִים לָהּ כַּיּוֹלֵדָה. הֲדָא הוּא דִכְתִיב, כְּמוֹ הָרָה תַּקְרִיב לָלֶדֶת תָּחִיל תִּזְעַק בַּחֲבָלֶיהָ וְגוֹ'.

694 מָתַי מְחַלֶּקֶת לָהֶן? כַּאֲשֶׁר הַבֹּקֶר רוֹצֶה לָבֹא, בְּעוֹד שֶׁהוּא לַיְלָה וְהַשַּׁחֲרוּת עוֹלָה לְהָאִיר, כְּמוֹ שֶׁנֶּאֱמַר וַתָּקָם בְּעוֹד לַיְלָה וַתִּתֵּן טֶרֶף לְבֵיתָהּ וְגוֹ'. כֵּיוָן שֶׁהֵאִיר הַבֹּקֶר, כֻּלָּם שְׂבֵעִים בַּמָּזוֹן שֶׁלָּהּ.

694 אֵימָתַי פַּלְגַּת לְהוֹן. כַּד צַפְרָא בָּעֵי לְמֵיתֵי. בְּעוֹד דְּאִיהִי לֵילְיָא, וְקַדְרוּתָא סְלִיקַת לְאַנְהָרָא. כְּמָה דְאַתְּ אָמֵר, וַתָּקָם בְּעוֹד לַיְלָה וַתִּתֵּן טֶרֶף לְבֵיתָהּ וְגוֹ'. כֵּיוָן דְּאַנְהִיר צַפְרָא, כֻּלְּהוּ שַׂבְעִין בִּמְזוֹנָא דִּילָהּ.
