 ki, lo-ta'azov nafshi lish'ol;    lo-titten chasidcha, lir'ot shachat

16 - 11   תּוֹדִיעֵנִי,    אֹרַח חַיִּים:שֹׂבַע שְׂמָחוֹת, אֶת-פָּנֶיךָ;    נְעִמוֹת בִּימִינְךָ נֶצַח

  todi'eni,    orach chayim:sova semachot, et-paneicha;    ne'imot bimincha netzach

17 - 1  תְּפִלָּה, לְדָוִד:שִׁמְעָה יְהוָה, צֶדֶק--    הַקְשִׁיבָה רִנָּתִי, הַאֲזִינָה תְפִלָּתִי;בְּלֹא,    שִׂפְתֵי מִרְמָה

 tefillah, ledavid:shim'ah Adonai, tzedek--    hakshivah rinnati, ha'azinah tefillati;belo,    siftei mirmah

17 - 2  מִלְּפָנֶיךָ, מִשְׁפָּטִי יֵצֵא;    עֵינֶיךָ, תֶּחֱזֶינָה מֵישָׁרִים

 millefaneicha, mishpati yetze;    eineicha, techezeinah meisharim

17 - 3  בָּחַנְתָּ לִבִּי, פָּקַדְתָּ לַּיְלָה--    צְרַפְתַּנִי בַל-תִּמְצָא;זַמֹּתִי,    בַּל-יַעֲבָר-פִּי

 bachanta libi, pakadta laylah--    tzerafttani val-timtza;zammoti,    bal-ya'avar-pi

17 - 4  לִפְעֻלּוֹת אָדָם, בִּדְבַר שְׂפָתֶיךָ--    אֲנִי שָׁמַרְתִּי, אָרְחוֹת פָּרִיץ

 lif'ullot adam, bidvar sefateicha--    ani shamartti, arechot paritz

17 - 5  תָּמֹךְ אֲשֻׁרַי, בְּמַעְגְּלוֹתֶיךָ;    בַּל-נָמוֹטּוּ פְעָמָי

 tamoch ashuray, bema'geloteicha;    bal-namottu fe'amay

17 - 6  אֲנִי-קְרָאתִיךָ כִי-תַעֲנֵנִי אֵל;    הַט-אָזְנְךָ לִי, שְׁמַע אִמְרָתִי

 ani-kera'ticha chi-ta'aneni el;    hat-azenecha li, shema imrati

17 - 7  הַפְלֵה חֲסָדֶיךָ, מוֹשִׁיעַ חוֹסִים--    מִמִּתְקוֹמְמִים, בִּימִינֶךָ

 hafleh chasadeicha, moshia chosim--    mimmitkomemim, biminecha

17 - 8  שָׁמְרֵנִי, כְּאִישׁוֹן בַּת-עָיִן;    בְּצֵל כְּנָפֶיךָ, תַּסְתִּירֵנִי

 shamereni, ke'ishon bat-ayin;    betzel kenafeicha, tasttireni

17 - 9  מִפְּנֵי רְשָׁעִים, זוּ שַׁדּוּנִי;    אֹיְבַי בְּנֶפֶשׁ, יַקִּיפוּ עָלָי

 mipenei resha'im, zu shaduni;    oyevay benefesh, yakkifu alay

17 - 10  חֶלְבָּמוֹ סָּגְרוּ;    פִּימוֹ, דִּבְּרוּ בְגֵאוּת

 chelbamo sageru;    pimo, diberu vege'ut

17 - 11   אַשֻּׁרֵינוּ, עַתָּה סבבוני ;    עֵינֵיהֶם יָשִׁיתוּ, לִנְטוֹת בָּאָרֶץ
